Проведений аналіз свідчить про доцільність проведення сторожової лімфаденектомії після неоад'ювантної терапії. Сторожова біопсія особливо показана, коли неоад'ювантна хіміотерапія супроводжується високим ступенем регресії пухлини (бажано повною) або пухлина після неоад'ювантної хіміотерапії стає меншою (3 см) в діаметрі і хірург планує виконання органозберігального втручання.
